Season 1 episode 1-11




Liar Game is a Japanese television drama series in 2007. It was adapted from a popular manga, known as the Liar Game, into a live action series directed by Hiroaki Matsuyama. The drama began airing in Japan on April 14, 2007.

The lead protagonist - a scrupulously honest college student named Nao Kanzaki - receives a package containing 100 million yen (about 1 million dollars) and a note that she is now a contestant in the Liar Game Tournament. In this fictional tournament, contestants are encouraged to cheat and lie to obtain other contestants' money; those who lose have to bear a 100-million-yen debt. When Nao's first opponent - a trusted friend and teacher - steals her money, she seeks assistance from a con man named Shin'ichi Akiyama.

Season 2 episode 1-9





Following from last season, the naive Nao Kanzaki (Toda Erika) and "genius swindler", Shinichi Akiyama (Matsuda Shota), goes back to their normal routines until Nao receives an invitation from LGT to resume the Liar Game and compete for entrance to The Final Stage.

Besides Kanzaki and Akiyama, the flamboyant Fukunaga (Suzuki Kosuke) returns to the Liar Game and a mysterious but talented psychology professor, Katsuragi Ryo, (Rinko Kikuchi) enters the Liar Game as a new entrant.

Movie Special - The Final Stage



Even though being able to withdraw from the Liar Game Tournament, Kanzaki Nao (Toda Erika) decides to join Akiyama Shinichi (Matsuda Shota) and nine other players for the final game, ”The Garden of Eden game”, which offers a 5 billion yen prize.

The players are informed that if all the players can work together, they can all become winners. However the chances of winning are endangered by a mysterious player known as "Person X".
